Our use of technology and access to information is growing and cyber security and awareness are now essential knowledge and skills for our digital world. Understanding how our digital world works, how it is designed to protect us and how we can keep our information safe is critical for both adults and students to learn.
There are many authentic opportunities for teaching about cyber security and awareness with the Australian Curriculum: Digital Technologies and the ICT Capabilities. Join us in this course to learn how to bring this essential topic into high school classrooms with student-friendly language and activities.
This course is designed to:

- Increase your awareness of and access to high-quality cyber security education resources that you can use with secondary years students.
- Deepen your understanding of the challenges and risks of digital technologies and how to teach high school students about proactive behaviours in using technologies safely and securely.
- Inspire awareness of jobs and careers in cyber security, with a range of fascinating roles and real-world applications.
